Punto Blanco

A brand established in 1948, founded by brothers Pere and Manuel Valls, who hailed from Igualada. The family’s textile heritage and the prevailing economic environment fostered the growth of the company Industrias Valls 1, SA. It is part of Corporació Empresarial Valls, SA, a group comprising five companies in the textile and graphic arts sectors.

The brand specializes in the manufacture of socks, underwear, and pajamas—garments that come into direct contact with the skin—for both men and women. Quality, innovation, and service are the company’s pillars. Currently, a high percentage of its products are still manufactured in Igualada (Barcelona).

It holds the OEKO-TEX certificate. Only skin-friendly products are used during the processing of the materials. Great importance is placed on the materials, which are always of the highest quality. A wide variety of materials are used, such as cotton, organic cotton, bamboo, modal, wool, cashmere, and viscose.

The brand utilizes all distribution channels: multi-brand retailers, department stores, large retail chains, distributors, and online sales. The product offering varies depending on the channel.

For decades, the company operated solely as a manufacturer and wholesale distributor. From the beginning, there was a “factory store” in Igualada that sold surplus stock and imperfect items. Over time, this type of store evolved into an outlet concept.

In response to market developments and with the goal of reaching more customers, the first full-price Punto Blanco store was opened in 2005. Currently, there are 16 Punto Blanco stores in Spain.
