Tenuee is a family-run company based in Vic, with a space on Avinguda Diagonal, specializing in solid wood furniture and sustainable construction. With over 25 years of experience, the company has evolved from its beginnings into an established business that combines craftsmanship, design, sustainability, and a holistic vision of the home.
In 2001, Alicia Montero began importing sandals from Bali, while her brother, Manel Montero, developed a small line of wooden furniture from Indonesia. Over time, the business evolved and focused exclusively on furniture, under Manel’s leadership.
After exploring various manufacturing options in Ukraine and China, Tenuee made a strategic shift and moved production to Vic. This decision allowed the company to regain control over production processes, strengthen artisanal craftsmanship, and move toward a more sustainable business model.
Currently, Tenuee combines the manufacturing of solid wood furniture with sustainable construction projects and high-end residential developments, particularly in areas such as the Costa Brava. This evolution reflects a consistent philosophy: creating spaces with character, using high-quality materials, and establishing an authentic connection with the surroundings.
Through international strategic alliances—such as its collaboration with the Greek firm Coco-mat—Tenuee continues to broaden its horizons and strengthen its international presence, while remaining true to its family roots and its commitment to quality, design, and sustainability.
