Born in Barcelona on November 13, 1971, he completed his primary and secondary education at the Garbi school.
He aspired to obtain an aviation pilot’s license; however, due to color blindness, his flying privileges were restricted to private use, preventing him from pursuing a professional career in the field.
Subsequently, he pursued business studies and spent over 15 years working in IT consulting (specializing in training and programming). In 2012, he joined the family business, Pastisseria Mauri, where he remains today. He also serves on the boards of the Pastry Guild (Gremi de Pastisseria) and the Restaurant Guild (Gremi de Restauració), and is a member of the Rambla de Catalunya Merchants’ Association.
Pastisseria Mauri was established in Barcelona in 1929. It features a ceiling painting titled *La Devesa de l’Abundància* (“The Meadow of Abundance”) and 19th-century furnishings.
