Jordi Raboso Alonso has been Managing Director of the Institut Municipal del Paisatge Urbà i la Qualitat de Vida at Barcelona City Council since February 2025. A career civil servant, qualified architect and holder of a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, he has extensive experience in the public sector, particularly in urban planning and municipal public administration.

Throughout his career, he has held technical and leadership roles in urban transformation, heritage conservation and public space improvement, bringing an integrated approach that combines architecture, sustainability and urban quality.

As Managing Director of the Institut Municipal del Paisatge Urbà i la Qualitat de Vida at Barcelona City Council, he currently leads municipal policies aimed at protecting and enhancing Barcelona’s urban landscape. He drives initiatives focused on improving the quality of public spaces, conserving architectural heritage, regulating the use of the urban landscape and promoting the city’s architectural and cultural values. He also contributes to coordination and advisory forums relating to public art and the international promotion of Barcelona’s urban heritage.
