Ornamante is the project of two interior designers from Barcelona, Francisco and Xavier, who are passionate about decoration and art. The brand was established in 2014. Their pieces—large-scale, highly detailed figures of animals with human-like poses and features—are all handcrafted, one by one, with the entire creation and production process taking place in Barcelona. Each character has its own name and biography, and the brand’s universe is inspired by a purported 1916 scientific project discovered in an antique shop. The store serves as both a showroom and a workshop, where visitors can watch the pieces being created.
