Alfons Barti i Borrell has been Director of Barcelona Comerç since 2014, a foundation representing 24 commercial districts and 4,500 member retailers. He also holds a senior management role at Vitrines d’Europe. He studied Business Administration at the Escola Superior d’Estudis Universitaris de Girona. He previously served as general manager and export manager of an internationally active Catalan family business specialising in machinery and solar protection, and is president of a sports club in the Sant Andreu neighbourhood of Barcelona.
